This has helped some people, give it a try.
1. Make sure you run ./configure AS the cricket user, not root.
2. You may need to manually set paths in the various files.
3. Run compile AS the cricket user
Because it sounds like it is not finding config tree since it finds 0 files.
I beleive by default it looks at /routers which has more than 1 target in
it. Therefore, it is not seeing this file or the config tree.

After running the compile I can find config.db nowhere! Now, after
scouring
the beginner.txt and the FAQ on Jeff's site I ran into some confusion.
In
the beginner file Jeff says to install DB_File. However, in the FAQ at
the
end he says to download BerkeleyDB 1.68 which is NOT DB_File as best as
I
can tell. I have DB_File installed just fiine. However, I have been
totally unsucessful in getting BerkeleyDB-1.68 to compile on my Redhat
box,
and this was after following its instructions. Here is the output of a

I compared the PORT/linux dir to my PORT/Linux-2.2 dir and found no
significant differences that I could tell. I am also at a loss as to
wether
I need BerkeleyDB-1.68 (although its readme says 1.67) or DB_File? Has
anyone got any clues/hints/ideas/help for me? I really would like to
use
Cricket/RRDtool over MRTG as MRTG simply consumes way too much time on
configs and everything. Any help at all would be appriciated, thank
you.
