Ivan,

    There was no cricket-data directory in my cricket dicrtories as best as
I could see. I made one called cricket-logs and modified the root Defaults
file to reflect my change. This still doesn't explain why I have to
explicitly set the -base tag for complie and collector and why I get no data
files written out to the direcotroy I setup (and I already checked the
permissions and ownership of the dirs).
