[cricket-users] Cricket almost there, small config problems

People,

I believe we are very close to finishing this off, the config problems have
to be very small now. The errors we are having still:

Graphing errors with the grapher.cgi:
..
Can't call method "configHash" on an undefined value at
/usr/users/cricket/public_html/cricket/./lib/Common/Map.pm line 126.
[Mon Oct 18 12:15:35 1999] [error] [client 153.107.21.98] Premature end of
script headers: /usr/users/cricket/public_html/cricket/grapher.cgi

Additionally, on graphs which are being generated, the value for the last
update time is set to Jan 1, 1970. Also the Current values for all graphs is
0.00, even though the graphed output appears to be correct. The AVG and MAX
values are OK.

We are generating some errors in the log files, I have attached one as a
sample.

Our config tree is as follows:
 ~cricket/cricket-config
Defaults routers<directory>

~cricket/cricket-config/routers
Defaults (a symlink of above)
Router-Defaults
RouterInt-Defaults
Central<directory>

~cricket/cricket-config/routers/Central
Defaults (A symlink of ../Router-Defaults)
Targets (Our targets file)
isbr01 (Directory)

~cricket/cricket-config/routers/Central/isbr01
Defaults (A Symlink of ../../RouterInt-Defaults)
interfaces

Here are the files:

 <<Defaults>> <<log.out>> <<Router-Defaults>> <<RouterInt-Defaults>>
<<rrddump.txt>>
This is a sample Targets file:
+---------------------------------------------------------------
target isbr05.isd.tafensw.EDU.AU
        target-type=Cisco-3600-Router
        short-desc = "isbr05.isd.tafensw.EDU.AU"

target inet-gw.dmz1.tafensw.EDU.AU
        target-type=Cisco-7500-Router
        short-desc = "inet-gw.dmz1.tafensw.EDU.AU"

target isbr10.isd.tafensw.EDU.AU
        target-type=Cisco-7500-Router
        short-desc = "isbr10.isd.tafensw.EDU.AU"
<snip>
+---------------------------------------------------------------

This is a sample interfaces file:

+---------------------------------------------------------------
target --default--
        router = isbr10.isd.tafensw.EDU.AU

target Fddi1_0_0
        interface-name = Fddi1/0/0
        short-desc = ""

target ATM1_1_0
        interface-name = ATM1/1/0
        short-desc = ""

target ATM1_1_0-atm_layer
        interface-name = "ATM1/1/0-atm layer"
        short-desc = ""
        target-type = sub-interface

target ATM1_1_0.0-atm_subif
        interface-name = "ATM1/1/0.0-atm subif"
        short-desc = ""
        target-type = sub-interface
<snip>
+---------------------------------------------------------------

The log.out is the output of : ~cricket/collector -logLevel debug
/routers/Central

I received some offers of assistance this morning, however the users return
email was not valid. I think I am going to take a break from this, and look
at the config file with a clear mind.

Kind Regards,

Guy
