This is because the interfaces are named the same and cricket stores
data files based on the target name which is the same on both routers.
It is giving a error because you get data, then attempt to overwrite the
data right after with more data from the other router.

To solve this:
Create two seperate directory's under cricket-config for each router.
Then place the Targets file for each router under their own directories.
Then cricket will create unique data files.

Subject: [cricket-users] Strange output from cron

From: pradeep@tradeit.com (Pradeep Subramaniam)

I get the following message every now and then from the cron job, which
runs every 5 minutes.

I am monitoring two routers on our network, one have two ethernet ports
(0 and 1) while the other has only one ethernet (0) and the other is
the serial (BRI0) connection to the ISDN line.

Can anyone out there tell me what I may be doing wrong?

I would also like to know the best way to do this. Both E0 interfaces
come up with the same description as one of them. How can I monitor
similarly named interfaces on different routers?

Thanks in advance.

Pradeep.
