Since I am a beginner with SNMP and require it to do any troubleshooting
within cricket I'll list out a few resources that might be handy.

The Simple Times: http://www.simple-times.org/
SNMP Research: http://www.snmp.com/snmpinfo.html
Guide to SNMP/CMIP: http://www.inforamp.net/~kjvallil/t/snmp.html
SNMP Archives: http://www.ee.umanitoba.ca/~blight/snmp.html

Good reading I have begun:
SNMP, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, & RMON 1 & 2
William Stallings, ISBN-0-201-48534-6

There are many many resources, unfortunatly SNMP is such a large concept
these days that the basic jist I get is to go read the RFC's and find
programs that use a sort of network topology (like Scotty) and start
plugging away.

However, if you find something of value please pass it along.
