Thanks for the help with the db libraries, seems to be running
fine now, except for one problem.
I cannot run CGI stuff on the machine with my homedir. We don't
mount homedirs on the machines we run CGI and web from, we
mount user's public_html and public_html/cgi-bin dirs in a
strange and magic way.
This means that the grapher can't find /home/stat/cricket-config or
cricket-data.
So thinks I, lets move it all down to /home/stat/public-html/cgi-bin
and run it from there.
But nothing works :( if I run collector it says can't find compiled
tree even if I use -base.
If I run compile, using
./compile -base /home/stat/public_html/cgi-bin/cricket-0.65/
I get things like:
[28-May-1999 16:33:28*] Unknown object type for /home/stat/public_html/cgi-bin/version.
and so on.
Have I misunderstood how -base works? I thought I did it that way
eariler when I was playing about and it worked.
I need to have cricket treat /home/stat/public_html/cgi-bin as
the user's "home directory". Do I need to go in to every perl
script and edit it to hardcode this, or is there an easier way?
