Here's a sample from my config:
target Whatever
snmp-host = ip.address.goes.here
target-type = Cisco-4500-Router
The key idea is that the target name can be pretty much whatever you want
it to be. The snmp-host tag/value pair will trigger a loopup using the IP
address.
