[cricket-users] no numbers at all?

I am still trying to graph modems....

The data is in a file. The defaults page has:

target-type = ModemServer
rrd-ds-type = GAUGE

dataSource ModemStaff
ds-source = file:0:/home/stat/services/ModemData

dataSource ModemStudent
ds-source = file:1:/home/stat/services/ModemData

graph ModemStaff
    color = blue
    draw-as = LINE1
    legend = "Staff"
    y-axis = "Modems"
    units = "Modems"
        precision = integer
        si-units = false

graph ModemStudent
    color = red
    draw-as = LINE1
    legend = "Students"
    y-axis = "Modems"
    units = "Modems"
        precision = integer
        si-units = false

The log says:
[30-Aug-1999 14:55:02 ] Retrieved data for modemserver (): 10,18
[30-Aug-1999 15:00:03 ] Reading data from /home/stat/services/ModemData for modemserver
[30-Aug-1999 15:00:03 ] Retrieved data for modemserver (): 10,18
[30-Aug-1999 15:05:03 ] Reading data from /home/stat/services/ModemData for modemserver
[30-Aug-1999 15:05:03 ] Retrieved data for modemserver (): 10,18
[30-Aug-1999 15:10:04 ] Reading data from /home/stat/services/ModemData for modemserver
[30-Aug-1999 15:10:04 ] Retrieved data for modemserver (): 10,18

But the graph says:
Values at last update:
Staff: 0 Modems
Students: 0 Modems

So... why 0? How do I get it to give me that data? MRTG did
it straight up no problem, but cricket is more complex and is
harder to make work....

Is cricket trying to average the data over time or something?
