Hello,
For anybody using threshold monitoring, I would advise upgarding
to rrdtool-1.0.10, as prior versions had a bug in 'rrdtool update'
causing a datasource value to not get written every cyclic interval
(50 hours for most of people using Cricket, since that is the default),
causing an SNMP trap to get generated as the monitor stuff polls the
RRD database when it goes to check values.

CangeLog[sic] for RRDtool 1.0.x
--------------------------
- bugfix, + enhancement, * contrib, = RELEASE
---------------------------------------------
= 1.0.10 2000/01/07 -- Tobi
- 2000/01/07 -- Bill Fenner <fenner@research.att.com>
The Update Bug solved ... rrdtool was in violation of the ANSI
C standard (7.9.5.3) by issuing a fwrite immediately after an
fread without fseek inbetween
I have 1.0.10 working with Cricket-0.70 on two machines.
Take care,
--Sam
