Hi all,
I wanted to thank all you wonderful people for all your help so far.
I have finally gotten cricket to run the collector properly enough
so that it is generating graphs and collecting data.
(The graphs themselves have caused quite a stir in our IS
department. :) People are happy to be able to show that when they're
being paged at 2am, it's because the network is slow, not because the
systems are down.)
Anyways, I am still getting these error messages in my log files and
in my mail from querying just one really big router:
[28-Jul-1999 12:05:01 ] Starting collector: Cricket version 0.67 ( Wed Jun 9 22:
40:32 PDT 1999 )
[28-Jul-1999 12:05:01 ] Retrieved data for default-tis-router (): 23,26,21,28,66

<this line is repeated about a hundred times>
[28-Jul-1999 12:05:01*] No ds tag found for target type sub-interface.
<this line repeated about a hundred times>
Followed by the successful getting of a bunch of interfaces, i.e.:
[28-Jul-1999 12:05:02 ] Retrieved data for fastethernet2_0 (1): 3780580722,20898
83196,0,0,155317871,181825158
Does anyone have any idea why this is behaving this way?
Any insight will be much appreciated!
Thanks!
