The tag snmp is derived from this definition high in the config tree:

    snmp = %snmp-community%@%snmp-host%:%snmp-port%

So, if you want to send packets to a host named "heaven", you need to
set snmp-host to "heaven". In your case, the best way to do this would
probably be to use "snmp-host = %router%". See why?

I'm wondering if you accidentally removed that line from one of your
installations, since the router-interfaces subtree of the sample tree
has that line it it.
